My painting, Hangin' On, was awarded Best of Show in the Utah Watercolor Society 2010 Spring Exhibition. It was juried by Carla O'Connor, a nationally recognized juror, so I was very honored to recieve it.

I just finished teaching a 2 day workshop for the Cache Valley Chapter of the Utah Watercolor Society, held in Logan, Utah. I enjoyed the time I spent with the group very much. They are very talented artists and produced some very impressive work in the class.

I finally achieved my longtime dream of becoming a signature member of the American Watercolor Society! It has taken me many years to fulfill this goal, which made the acceptance all the more meaningful to me. It was such a rewarding experience to be in New York to receive the certificate in person.
